KIM Kardashian has given birth to a baby girl.
The US reality TV star, who was due to give birth to her first child on July 11, has reportedly welcomed her daughter at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills with Kanye West by her side.
A source said "Kim got sick last night and had the baby early. They're all doing great and amazing!"
TMZ however reports that she had a natural birth after beginning contractions on Friday and going into full labor on Saturday.
According to the E! Online, Kanye West was by her side for the delivery. The network also reports that the baby weighed in at under five pounds, which is fairly small for a newborn, but makes sense if the baby was indeed born early.
So far, the press-loving Kardashian is being oddly coy and hasn't tweeted about the birth; her publicist Jill Fritzo is not responding to repeated requests for comment. She and West have not revealed the name, but according to E!, Kardashian told friends it will begin with a K.
Kanye recently revealed that he plans to do everything in his power to protect the privacy of his daughter.
Asked for his thoughts on parenthood, he said: "One of the things was just to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child's mother ... [But I haven't] fully developed those thoughts yet. I don't have a kid yet.
"Well, I just don't want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn't America's baby."
