Chris Brown drops duet with Rihanna from his new album

Chris Brown has dropped his duet with ex-girlfriend Rihanna from his forthcoming album.

The Don't Judge Me singer has reportedly dropped a track the pair recorded prior to their split in May from collection X - and is ignoring pleas from his record label to reconsider.

According to a reliable source Chris is adamant that the song will not be included on the release.

Another source said: "Just saw the working track list for X yesterday - Rihanna is not on there.

"Record executives wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn't allow the record to be released unless they took it off."

And it seems there is little hope of Chris giving in to their demands as the source revealed he has made it clear it will not be happening.

They added: "They’re still hoping to convince Chris or pay him more to change his mind because it would be a hit. The record hasn’t been pressed yet, so things can change, but at this point he’s not changing his mind."

Chris told USA Today back in March about the collaboration and at the time was happy for his now former flame to feature.

He said: "She’s beautiful. She’s on tour and our schedules don’t allow us to be as close as we want to be. But everything is good. She will be on my album."
