The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara on Wednesday arrested two persons for allegedly defrauding some residents in the guise of getting them contracts and jobs.
The Kwara Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Gana Yerima, said the suspects were arrested in IIorin following complaints by some members of the public.
Yerima said the two suspects had defrauded their victims of N990,000.
He said forged letters of employment and contracts with stamps of the federal and state governments were recovered from the suspects.
Yerima said the two suspects would soon be arraigned in court.
